Uses

Hareline’s UV Galaxy Mop Chenille is mainly used for tying Mop Flies. Simply cut to length, singe the end with a flame, and tie it in. And although this material is mostly used for tying Mop Flies, it can also be wrapped to create bodies on larger flies and is an excellent addition to all crappie jigs.   

Comparisons 

Another popular material for tying Mop Flies is Hareline’s UV Mottled Galaxy Mop Chenille. This material is identical in shape and diameter to their UV Galaxy Mop Chenille, but in addition to the flecks of flash, it also has a black marking effect.
