Jared Ouellette is a Registered Maine Guide and avid fly tyer who grew up fishing the notoriously tricky waters of the Farmington River in Connecticut, and has been an avid angler ever since. After moving to Maine 8 years ago and spending countless hours exploring the fishing opportunities the state has to offer, he decided to take it one step further and become a guide hoping to share his passion with others and help in educating them on conservation issues and ethical fishing practices. His love for fishing is rivaled only by his obsession with tying, and along with it the immersive nature of being attuned with the riparian and aquatic ecosystems he frequents.
