To further increase durability, Loomis utilizes their Multi-Taper design. Multi-Taper Design consists of “micro-tapers” integrated directly into the taper of the blank. This process allows Loomis to place more material on potential breaking points while reducing the material elsewhere. This creates a durable blank that can stand up to years of use while also keeping things light and efficient.  

The NRX+ T2S comes with a clean matte black finish. While this finish brings a clean appearance, the matted construction is crucial for bright days and clear water where even the slightest reflection of light will send cruising fish in your exact opposite direction.

Loomis adds a cloth rod tube to this series of rods so that you can let your rod rest softly whenever you’re not chasing saltwater fish. 

Warranty 

As of May 2022, G. Loomis’ NRX+ T2S Rod  is covered by their limited lifetime warranty. This covers non-conformities in workmanship and materials for the life of the original owner. A receipt or proof of purchase is necessary, and rods must be registered with G. Loomis within 30 days of purchasing in order to be eligible for the warranty. Should you break your rod due to abuse, neglect, wear and tear, or alteration, your rod will be repaired or replaced for a fee. G. Loomis also reserves the right to refuse service on any claim.
