The NRX Lite Presentation rods are made for spooky trout in low water conditions. Steve Rajeff has designed a rod that is delicate, smooth, and highly capable. If you find yourself casting long leaders and small flies to rising trout in skinny water, the NRX LP is for you. This rod’s soft taper completely redefines accuracy and finesse. The taper of the NRX LP also allows true tracking and incredible line control, necessary elements of a dry fly rod. With an NRX LP in hand, finicky trout feeding on the surface don’t stand a chance.
Carbon and Nano Silica Resins - One of the most appealing things about the new NRX LP is its rod blank. Rajeff has designed a rod blank that is soft enough to properly present light tippets but strong enough to make longer casts to far off fish. The softly tapered blank is made with carbon and nano silica resins to encourage lightweight performance. A soft rod tip also helps protect tippet and make accurate casts when fishing small dry flies.
Full Recoil Guides - Nickel-titanium single foot guides with carbonitride coating line the NRX LP. Unlike other rods, the NRX LP doesn’t have a stripping guide. Full recoil guides reduce unneeded weight, help fly line shoot through the guides more easily, and resume their original shape after being banged or bent. A Carbonitride coating means these guides are insanely durable and wear-resistant.
Graphite Barrel Reel Seat - The reel seat on the NRX LP is beautifully barreled for functionality and durability. Barreling protects the graphite insert and anodized componentry is made to stand up to the harshest elements. A single uplocking component holds light trout reels in place while contributing to the rod’s lightweight design. The G. Loomis insignia is visible on the green graphite insert.
Aluminum Rod Tube - The NRX LP comes with a durable aluminum rod tube that will protect your investment and keep the rod safe when it’s not being used.
Loomis Limited Lifetime Warranty -The G. Loomis NRX LP, like all Loomis fly rods, is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, which covers the rod for the life of the original owner. For breakage determined to have occurred due to non-conformance, G. Loomis will at the companies’ discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge.
Xpeditor Service - G. Loomis offers an additional option for repair that we think is the industry’s finest. It’s a no-fault, no-questions-asked, service program that gets you fishing in as little as a few days!! As of April 2018, the fee for the NRX LP is $100 for ground shipping.
