The reel on the Gecko Kit is the perfect choice for upcoming anglers, and just like the rest of the package, Echo designed it specifically for those just starting out. Reel Seat

Fast-Tighten Reel Seat - Echo sets out to make this model as user-friendly for younger anglers as possible, and their Fast-Tighten Reel Seat is about as easy as it gets. With an uplocking design and obvious slots for your reel to sit in, this reel seat is perfect for anglers just getting started, and it also has an uplocking design to keep everything nice and secure. The extended fighting butt allows this rod to be fished with two hands or one, further extending its ease-of-use, especially for the young angler that’s coming from a conventional fishing background.   

Rod Tube

Because Echo knows that accidents happen, they’ve included a rod tube equipped with an integrated reel cradle to add security on those bike rides down to the local pond. 

Warranty 

As of Aprile 2023, all Echo rods are covered by their warranty policy for the natural life of the rod for its original owner, wholly at the discretion of Rajeff Sports. The warranty for Echo rods is covered by a service fee, and/or if the rod is discontinued or non-repairable, Echo will offer an equivalent replacement at 50% of the MSRP. Echo’s warranty applies to any damage that occurs while on the water, so whether you’ve snapped your rod on the fish of a lifetime or the wind quickly changed direction while throwing a heavy stonefly, Echo has your back. However, Echo will not cover damages caused by general neglect, whether that be your rod getting closed in a car door or your dog using the cork as a teething ring.
