Darth Baetis Fly

The Darth Baetis nymph is an incredibly realistic BWO-Baetis pattern that was originally created for trout fishing in Colorado but can be used in a variety of trout fishing scenarios. The fly’s slim profile and small appearance seem unassuming at first glance until you notice the detail and the vivid colors. This fly grabs the attention of a feeding fish quickly and imitates a real BWO nymph to encourage fish to commit. This is a great fly for spring creeks, technical tailwaters, and fisheries with clear, clean water. Available in several different colors and sizes, this works well as a dropper or as a second fly on a Euro-nymphing setup. The Darth Baetis is tied by Umpqua Signature Tyer Greg Garcia and is a phenomenal trout nymph.
