We have an H.L Leonard “Centennial” rod from 1981 commemorating 100 years in Central Valley, NY. The rod is 8ft 6in 3-piece with 2 tips for a 5wt. It is modeled after the most popular rod model Leonard built in 1881. Out of 50 rods planned, Leonard only produced 38 this one is 29 out of the series. This rod is in very good condition and has definitely been fished. There are slight sets in both tips. One tip-top guide is offset slightly. Each section is full-length and seats very well. The sliding band reel seat has H.L Leonard stamped on the butt cap and a butternut wood spacer. The rattan handle has woven red silk up the length.
