A buggy-looking saltwater fly that’s packed with movement and can trick anything from finicky permit to large redfish, Chicones Tide Slave Fly is about as reliable as it gets. Designed in Florida by master tier Drew Chichone, the Tide Slave serves as a searching pattern that also resembles a shrimp. Chicone ties this fly with natural movement as a prominent feature, and its construction of rubber legs, realistic eyes, and a fur body flawlessly meet the mark.

A fly that’s great for fishing tidal flats, channel cuts, tidal estuaries, and open beaches, the Tide Slave pulses in the water whether it’s sitting still or being crept along the sand. Chicones Tide Slave is commonly fished in the color combo of tan and orange and in sizes 2-4. This fly is a great choice regardless of when you’re on the water, and it's a fly that should never be left at home whenever you’re pursuing tough fish like bonefish and permit.
