True to form, the Session 905 looks and feels unmistakably like a Scott. The unsanded blank, finished in matte gray with green accent wraps and alignment dots, gives it that classic, understated aesthetic Scott fans expect. Hardware is solid throughout, with a green wood insert, double-uplocking reel seat, and lightweight snake guides paired with silicon nitride stripping guides. One standout detail is the grip: a uniquely shaped full-wells that’s more comfortable and ergonomic than the one found on the Centric. Flex & Feel

At longer distances, especially past 60 feet or in windy conditions, the soft tip starts to show its limits.
