New 2014 Simms G3 Guide Boot
Simms' G3 Guide Boot has blazed more miles than any other wading boot in existence-and it's just warming up. Advancements to this year's incarnation include the guide-approved performance of a RiverTread platform featuring proprioception, which minimizes rigid underfoot materials for enhanced feel whether on the trail or in the water. Vibram Idrogrip outsoles add to this great-grip equation thanks to multi-directional lugs-compatible with all Simms' AlumiBite and HardBite cleats and studs. Additional features include a TPU molded heel clip for a positive, locked-in fit, as well as neoprene internals that deliver cushioning where it counts for superior wading warmth, comfort, and easy on/off activation.

  • An update to Simms' signature Guide Boot for a lighter, yet more durable balance of wet trail & all-day wading
  • Simms NEW RiverTread platform for guide-ready wading performance, support & traction
  • TPU molded heel clip for positive heel fit & hiking security
  • Partially-lined with neoprene for wading warmth, cushioning & easy-on/easy-off
  • MATERIAL TECH: Waterproof nubuck leather & TPU-coated textile RiverTread platform/4.0mm Vibram IdroGrip rubber outsole
  • APPROX. PAIR WEIGHT: (size 10): 59.2 oz

Still the best Review by Jason

There are a lot of choices these days when it comes to wading boots. But, for the money the Simms G3 Guide Boot is still the best on the market. The other brands don't match up to the comfort and durability of these boots. If your fishing the slippery rocks of Pacific Northwest rivers, I'd recommend installing studs for additional traction. Also, unless all your doing is wet wading, buy these boots one size bigger (example: I wear a size 11 tennis shoe, but I need a size 12 G3 Guide Boot). Posted on 8/24/15
Superb Boots Review by Brayden

I've had these boots for about 8 months now and they are awesome. I don't ever feel like I am slipping or unstable, and I don't have studs in them. My cousin I fish with a lot has the same boots and he doesn't feel the need for studs either. I normally wear a 10.5 or 11, and I bought a size 12 in these. They are a little roomy but that's good for me in the winter when I wear nice thick socks. I love the fit of these boots. They have a really nice heel cup that makes them fit really well. They still look new, and I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a great product that will last. Posted on 6/3/15
