Simms Headwaters Stockingfoot Waders Reviews

good first pair of waders! Review by EQ

I've had two pairs of these Simms Headwaters Stockingfoot Waders and they were great! Durable and breathable, they were a great first pair of waders. I used the heck out of them, and eventually they got a couple holes from sliding around and bramble bushes, but I'd buy them again. I upgarded to a mid level simms wader model and love em!
My Current Waders of Choice Review by Douglas

I've used these waders in 3 World/European Fly Fishing Competitions without a problem. A very nice wearing wader, custom fits are true to size. Have been using these waders for 2 seasons without a problem, always dry, after all day on the water. The only design issue that I have is that there is no draw cord at the top of the waders to keep water from entering into it, if you take a fall into the river. Other than that, I would give a 5* rating. Wader belt is included and is thin & lightweight design. I recommend the SIMMS neoprene wading belt to accompany it, as it is wider, thicker & holds accessories better, i.e. my water bottle & wading staff without slipping off when I release it to use the bathroom, etc. The booties on the wader, a most important feature are super & the tape never comes unglued, ever, after using various SIMMS waders for about 7 years or more.
