The Sage VXP Fly Rod is covered by Sage's lifetime warranty. The Sage VXP fly rod improves on the previous VT2 series in almost every way. This is a highly responsive, smooth and accurate rod that's designed to be lightweight. There are a range of line weights and tapers available, making it the perfect choice for both experienced and beginner anglers.
The rod's smooth performance and incredibly fast line speeds are mainly due to its thin shaft. Sage VXP fly rods are manufactured using a high modulus material, meaning the rod can be slimmer and lighter without reducing its power. The manufacturing material also allows for a consistent and reliably smooth performance.
The Sage VXP fly rod has a fast action. Line weights from 3 to 10 are available, each with a variety of tapers and materials. 3- to 5-weight models all have cigar grips, while most of the heavier weights come with full-wells grips.
Lighter line models of the Sage VXP fly rod series are designed for smooth performance and a progressive action. This makes them suitable for tricky presentations. The heavier 9- and 10-weights are built for bigger fish, and can deal with larger flies. There are two 6-weight options available depending on whether you need a freshwater or saltwater rod.
Sage VXP fly rods are built with hard chromed snake guides. All rods in the series come with a cloth covered rod/reel case. With the range of line weights, materials and tapers available, there's bound to be a Sage VXP fly rod that suits your casting style and requirements.
