The Proaxis is the hottest saltwater fly rod on the market today. Designed in conjunction with Five Time Tarpon Gold Cup Champion, Andy Mill, the new Proaxis pushes the limits of both performance and durability. It has an amazing ability to pick your fly line off the water and then place it directly in front of a tailing bonefish.
These fast-action rods are loaded with cutting edge features, like lightweight saltwater-safe hardware, titanium recoil guides and, of course, Hardy's revolutionary Sintrix material. Proaxis rods are lighter, stronger, more impact resistant and capable of withstanding much higher loads than standard graphite fly rods.
Cast Further. Fish Longer.
We recommend pairing this rod with Rio Saltwater or SA Mastery Textured Saltwater.

George Anderson of Yellowstone Angler proclaimed the Proaxis 1-Piece the best 8-weight in the world and it's quickly becoming the choice of professional guides worldwide. From the bonefish flats of Christmas Island to the Tarpon of South Florida to the salt flats of Casco Bay, anglers are seeing the benefits for the smooth power transfer provided by the one piece design.

The 1-piece is available in weights 8-12.

With all the benefits of the 1-Piece rods, the 4-Piece Proaxis rods have the same awesome performance - but in an easy to transport, four section format.

Hardy Proaxis 9ยด4 pc #12 Review by Usag4

Excellent cane, fast, lightweight, puts the line where we, in Key Largo and Isla de la Juventud, tested with 3 large tarpon, highly recommended.
Fast powerful rod with feeling Review by Ted

I have the 7wt and 10wt in this series. They are fast, powerful rods, but have a very good feel. Not a broomstick at all. I can feel them load up well for short casts, but they also have the power to really sling it out there without feeling like I have overpressed the rod.
