The Hardy Proaxis One-Piece fly rod is covered by the company's Worldwide Extended Warranty. The Hardy Proaxis One-Piece fly rod is built for the serious saltwater angler. Designed by a team of saltwater experts, including Andy Mill, the rod combines advanced features with the strong SINTRIX material. With its ultra-durable design, high end features and one section construction, this is the ultimate rod for saltwater fishing.
SINTRIX is a graphite alternative that provides up to 60% more compressive strength. This allows for a lighter rod without sacrificing durability. The Hardy Proaxis One-Piece fly rod can also cope with higher loads than graphite rods of the same weight, making it perfect for long casts, big fights and extended fishing trips.
The one-piece design has a number of benefits. The main advantage is that the joint-free construction eliminates the risk of a loose joint. If you're fighting big saltwater fish, this is one less thing to worry about. One section designs also transfer power more effectively than rods with multiple joints. Hardy Proaxis One-Piece fly rods are designed to provide the ultimate performance for saltwater fishing, and can cope with the intense conditions and challenges of fishing at sea.
Line-weights of 8-12 are available, and each model comes with a full wells grip. The Hardy Proaxis One-Piece fly rod has a fast action, along with titanium guides made by Fuji and REC. The reel seat is designed in-house by Hardy, and features a two part construction.
